Our story

Duck Creek Hundred Holdings was established in 2012 as the personal holding company of Thomas Polson. For much of its history, the company focused on traditional asset classes. Today, it has evolved into a modern treasury, applying the same principles of stewardship to Bitcoin and next-generation Islamic finance. Mr. Polson has been active in the Islamic finance industry since 2008, dedicating much of his effort to innovation and product development. Thomas first bought Bitcoin in 2017 and has worked with three blockchain companies. He also runs Polson Real Assets, a Halal multi-member investment cooperative with stakes in Bitcoin, stocks, real estate, private equity, and venture capital.

The company takes its name from the site of a 1707 farmland purchase in Delaware by Thomas’s seventh great-grandfather, a Welsh indentured servant who built a successful family legacy in Colonial America. That farm became the foundation for over two centuries of continuous family agricultural activity, lasting until 1930.
